I grew up in a tiny little place called Hof-Schönhorst, Germany. I spent my childhood on a farm surrounded by nature, tractors, and plenty of animals. I now live in Kiel, Germany, where I study Recent German Literature and Media Studies, Philosophy, and Art History. I have been working on a feature documentary about the legendary Jewish American entertainer Al Jolson since 2006. This endeavor has changed a lot in my life, although I only discovered Al Jolson.
